romania - a fantastic country. poverty stricken in parts but all smiles as we drove through. met a monk who "me no into politics", bribed old bill with a cool half million lei after being busted for speeding (we was doing 50 - honest gov!) and were genuinely freaked by the gypsies in dracula country (land of suicidal mountain drivers and perpetual drizzle).

spent three breathtaking days cruising the mountain passes and finished off with a pothole riddled burn to the border of bulgaria on their somewhat loosely termed "motorway".
